This document explains the framework for returning items and receiving refunds, drafted in accordance with the Sale of Goods Ordinance and the Electronic Transactions Ordinance applicable within Hong Kong.

The Thirty-Day Window

  • Our policy remains active for a duration of 30 days starting from the date your order is delivered to your specified address.
  • If this period has elapsed since your delivery, we are unable to facilitate a return or an exchange.
  • This timeframe is designed to give you sufficient opportunity to inspect your purchase upon arrival.
  • We encourage all individuals to examine their items immediately to ensure they align with the order placed on our digital platform.

Criteria for Returns

  • Melriona accepts returns exclusively in instances where an item arrives in a damaged state or if the incorrect product was dispatched.
  • Because we aim for clarity in our item descriptions and imagery, we do not provide returns, exchanges, or refunds for a change of mind or personal preference.
  • We ask that you finalise your selection only when you are entirely certain about the piece you wish to own.
  • If you find that your item is broken or does not match your order, please notify us by sending an email to help@melriona.com .

Collection and Inspection

  • Once you have alerted us to a discrepancy or damage via email, we will coordinate a collection from your doorstep.
  • This service is provided at no cost to you; the logistics and transport fees are handled by Melriona.
  • After the item is returned to our facility, our team requires a period of 24 hours to conduct a thorough assessment of its condition.
  • This step is essential to determine the appropriate course of action, whether that involves a replacement or a full reversal of the transaction.

Resolution Options

  • Following our internal assessment, we will proceed with one of two options.
  • If the item is available in our inventory, we will arrange for a replacement to be sent to you.
  • In situations where the item is no longer in stock or the damage is deemed beyond repair, we will initiate a full refund.
  • We do not apply any restocking fees for these returns, ensuring that the process remains straightforward.

Refund Mechanism and Timelines

  • Because Melriona operates on a Cash on Delivery (COD) model , we do not hold any sensitive identifiers or bank details at the time of purchase.
  • If a refund is approved, we will reach out to you via our official email address to request your bank details for a manual bank transfer.
  • Once we receive this information and initiate the transfer, the funds typically appear in your account within 7 business days .
  • This duration depends on the processing protocols of your specific banking provider.

Geographic Limitation

Please be aware that our return and refund services are strictly limited to Hong Kong. We do not facilitate collections or refunds for any items located outside of this jurisdiction.
